The full workflow in three steps
1. Upload your manuscript
Upload your editable Word document (.doc / .docx), then choose your service tier, AI model (Claude Sonnet 5, Claude Opus 5, GPT-5.6, or Gemini 3.8 Flash), American or British English, and a reference style guide (APA, Chicago, AMA, Vancouver, CSE). PDF is reserved for Pre-Submission Review or supporting context because revision deliverables are returned as Word .docx files. Subscribers spend credits; everyone else can buy any service as a one-time purchase.
2. Watch the AI revise in real time
RevisePilot parses your document structure and revises it section by section, showing live progress as it goes. Your citations, footnotes, endnotes, and cross-references (Zotero, EndNote, Mendeley, CSL, and Word built-in) are detected and preserved exactly. Most manuscripts finish in under 10 minutes.
3. Download everything you get back
When editing finishes, you can download:
- Your revised manuscript (.docx) — every change appears as a Word tracked change (insertion/deletion) so you can accept or reject each one. This is your primary deliverable.
- A manuscript insights report (.docx) — Basic Edit, Full Rewrite, and Translation include this extra document explaining the key editorial decisions and improvements.
- A publisher-ready editing certificate (.docx) — a submission-ready certificate that satisfies the AI-disclosure and language editing guidance from major publishers like Elsevier [1], Springer Nature [2], and Wiley [3].
Deliverables vary slightly by service (for example, Pre-Submission Review returns only the review report, and Response to Reviewers returns only the response letter). See each service page for details.
